Dr Senthilarasu Sundaram

Associate Professor

Biography

Senthilarasu Sundaram is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment. He completed his PhD at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India, in 2006. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Chonbuk National University, South Korea (From 2006 to 2008) and the National University of Singapore in 2009. Before join in Edinburgh Napier University, he was a senior lecturer at the University of Exeter, and he worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Loughborough University (201-2011) and Heriot-Watt University (2012). Prof. Sundaram is working on sustainable energy technologies to create environmentally sustainable materials for energy generation, storage, building integrated applications, thermal storage, water remediation, and low carbon heating applications. He is involved in various EPSRC, EU, and Innovate UK-funded projects. Published more than 150 journal articles and participated as an editorial member with different journals, including Nature Scientific Reports.
