One-day interdisciplinary conference under the auspices of the new Scottish Centre for Victorian and Neo-Victorian Studies, co-sponsored by the British Association for Victorian Studies (BAVS), the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research at Glasgow University, Strathclyde University and Edinburgh Napier's Centre for Literature and Writing. Aside from academic presentations, there will be a talk by the National Library of Scotland's Rare Books Curator and a performance of Martin Travers' new play 'Annville' about two murders in Victorian Lanarkshire.
