Meeting with Victoria Hamilton from Recoil knee pads. Recoil Kneepads were developed in 2013 by Glasgow-based product design engineer Victoria Hamilton. The aim of the design was to create a new knee pad that reduces knee pressure and kneeling discomfort experienced by those in the construction industry. Edinburgh Napier University will be supporting her in testing of her products in different applications. The work will be in collaboration with vibration exposure reduction research in collaboration with Richardson & Starling (Northern) Ltd. and Reactec Ltd.
