Edinburgh Napier spin-out heads for London showcase
Edinburgh is becoming one of the best cities in the World to be into tech, and this week one of Edinburgh Napier University's spin-outs - Cyan Forensics - represents the booming tech industry in the city.

Edinburgh is becoming the best city in the World to be into tech.

This week five Edinburgh based companies head to a two-day TechCrunch Disrupt event. Other companies include Mallzee, The ID Co, Make it Social and Yavi. They will be hosted within a dedicated “Scottish Pavilion”.

The companies include Cyan Forensics, which has recently spun-out our of The Cyber Academy at Edinburgh Napier University, and which aims to revolutionize digital investigations. The Cyber Academy now has three successful spin-out companies, including the award winning Zonefox (tipped to be one of the next companies to rival Skyscanner) and Symphonic Software (who are helping build a trust and governance infrastructure around health and social care in London).
