Michael Harris plays an organ concert of British and German music of the sixteenth to nineteenth centuries, as part of the Musical Wednesdays series in the Auditorium dell’Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze.

The Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze is a foundation with banking origins which undertakes a wide range of cultural and charitable projects, and funds a range of music-based projects. The organ in the auditorium in central Florence was built by Tamburini in 1975.

Michael Harris’s programme includes music by Samuel Sebastian Wesley, William Byrd, Maurice Greene, Georg Friedrich Händel, Johann Sebastian Bach, August Gottfried Ritter, Johann Christian Heinrich Rinck and Henry Smart.
