Basil Manoussos, the Manager of The Cyber Academy at the School of Computing is a finalist for the prestigious Cyber Evangelist of the Year (2018). This is an award that has seen Prof Bill Buchanan OBE, shortlisted twice and having won once (the first year of the Awards in 2016).

The awards are operated by the Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC), for the third year in a row and Edinburgh Napier University has been a top contender since its inception.

Basil has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Cyber Evangelist of the Year award, for his public engagement and raising awareness on issues of cyber threats to businesses and individuals all around Scotland.
