Dr Junaid Syed has been appointed Visiting Professor to the School of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment. The grant is 3 years which is funded by the Royal Academy of Engineering from September 2022 till August 2025.
Junaid is the Senior Vice President of Engineering & Operations at Curvalux. Currently, he is implementing novel high-capacity fixed-wireless broadband technologies to real world. Prof. Syed has previously lead international R&D projects and holds
numerous patents, including 14 in USA, most are in global production. As Visiting Professor, Syed looks to enhance the student experience on meeting the real world requirements of wireless communications.
