Project work with my students in these modules. The challenge is to keep students’ attention by being enthusiastic, informative, and showing by example, participation, and literally producing the practical project with the students, getting the fundamental elements of the topic across to encourage students to have a greater understanding of the creative process.
With a wealth of experience it seems the logical rout to teach students is to participate in the practical project by doing the project teaching by doing, Is necessary for learners to have the evidence upon which to reflect. Creativity can be learned. Research shows that creative people are not more intelligent than ‘uncreative people’, they just know how to use the creative process better. Teacher student relationships
Strategies to improve the rapport, and mutual respect between teacher and student, I am not looking for respect from students, I’m looking to teach students (potential Professional’s) that I don’t just teach this module I participate, the process then becomes democratised making a level playing field between student and lecturer the outcome is to be more creatively aware and self-reflective.
