  This chapter explores the ways in which digital advancements in ‘smart’ travel aim to put people at the fore and centre of the design, development maintenance, and operation of digital assets and services by adapting transportation technologies more precisely to a diversity of human needs. The aim of this chapter is to familiarize the reader with the latest digital trends in transport.
