A semantic-driven cloud migration framework
Cloud computing is a fast emerging ICT technology to achieving an innovative and sustainable digital economy. It is expected to be a dominating model and technology of the ICT sector for the next 15 years. In the current practice, the migration of existing software to cloud(s) and the remigration of a cloud service to a new best-fit cloud optimising the benefits the cloud offers through adaptation to specific architectural requirements are both very much in need. However these migrations are only done in an unsystematic and manual way and lack tool support, therefore often left the migration erroneous, inappropriate and results in high cost and long migration time.
The project aims to facilitate the migration of existing software to cloud(s) with a holistic semantic driven framework.
