Behaviour profiling using Touch-based Behavioural Biometrics for Continuous Authentication Systems
Authenticating smartphone users from distinct behavioural biometric patterns provided through human interactions on touch screens would allow users to be continuously authenticated on their devices while protecting them from unauthorised use. More importantly, this method requires no attention or interruption from the user. E.g., no need to remember a password. It has been found from our preliminary research that some behavioural features are essential for some users while irrelevant for others. Thus, advancing the field requires a method to generate and select new unique features for each user, which is set out to explored in this project.
