Bio id Security
  The university will undertake a comprehensive review of the core biometric security software for the desktop enterprise environment including Bio Logon, Bio ID Secure Communications and Bio ID Secure Applications.

The University will
•determine potential issues
•suggest solutions to any issues that will further enhance the security of the product offerings.
•recommend solutions for evolving the technology from Windows operating system to other operating systems, principally to the mobile sector and therefore enable the core technology to be adapted to a number of other operating systems and mobile devices.
•consider the adoption and integration of new cutting edge biometric hardware in order to maximise the full product range
•make recommendations for securing further IP and
•carry out analysis to determine the optimal commercial opportunities for the entire product suite to be developed.
