Bio id Security
  The university will undertake a comprehensive review of the core biometric security software for the desktop enterprise environment including Bio Logon, Bio ID Secure Communications and Bio ID Secure Applications.

The University will
• determine potential issues
• suggest solutions to any issues that will further enhance the security of the product offerings.
• recommend solutions for evolving the technology from Windows operating system to other operating systems, principally to the mobile sector and therefore enable the core technology to be adapted to a number of other operating systems and mobile devices.
• consider the adoption and integration of new cutting edge biometric hardware in order to maximise the full product range
• make recommendations for securing further IP and
• carry out analysis to determine the optimal commercial opportunities for the entire product suite to be developed.
