Cyber Security and the Third Sector in Scotland: a Pilot Project exploring Third Sector awareness and usage of Scottish Government cyber security products and resources
The project aims to better understand how the Scottish Government’s cyber products, resources and support more generally are received by a small sample of differing Third Sector organisations. In doing so it will explore how and why these products become adopted, rejected or overlooked, and identify barriers to engagement experienced organisationally, and map perceived gaps in current cyber security product provision to the sector. The findings hope to inform Scottish Government's third sector awareness raising activities, enhance the targeting of its key cyber products and resources, and more generally support the delivery of the Cyber Resilience Third Sector Action 2018-2020.

The secondary aim of project is to establish whether the questions, methods and approach utilised in this Pilot are productive. If so, the findings and impact derived from this project will serve as the foundation of a case for conducting a subsequent similar project on a larger scale.
