  We have identified the need for a more coherent and closer monitoring of system load and requirements in terms of power consumption within datacentres.

This project will develop a prototype application for managing and reporting the data to make it accessible from an end user and datacentre engineer perspective. We will focus primarily on demonstrating how multiple data sources can be represented to end users in an easily readable format to provide a general overview of hardware performance. The long term objective is to manage the resources utilised by the datacentres, i.e. heating, cooling, backup power, networks and all other ancillary systems
