Modern Studies Project Knowledge Exchange 2024-2025
This Knowledge Exchange project is funded by the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice research (the SCCJR). Our team comprises Iga Gumulinska (ENU), Dr Estelle Clayton (ENU), Karyn Mabon (University of Glasgow). Proposed KE activity: to develop an asynchronous webinar for modern studies learners to support them with dissertations focused on criminological topics by expanding their knowledge and understanding of key criminological issues, as well as developing skills related to undertaking a dissertation on criminological/crime and justice topics, including writing and dissertation design skills. We also aim to develop new SCCJR learning resources on new developments within criminological research, including crime and technology, green criminology and decolonisation based on the prior interest in those topics from MS teachers and learners.
