  North Lands Creative is the only open access dedicated glass studio in Scotland and one of a very small number in Europe.
Sustainability, perceived environmental impact and cost prevent the facility being used to its full potential and is restricting the access Scottish and UK artists.
Research into production methods and techniques and integrated building use will allow North Lands to develop a studio that is sustainable, environmentally considrerate and as cost efficient as is reasonably practicable.
This will allow the studio to be more accessible to groups of artists, craftsmen, designers and glass practitioners both professional and amateur to develop and enhance Scotland’s International reputation as a country with a cutting edge informed creative industry
