Scotland 2030 Vision
The "Scotland 2030 Vision” project seeks to build on internal research funding from Edinburgh Napier University to engage citizens in gaining their social, economic and cultural aspirations for the future of Scottish society. This will be used to inform national policy through Scotland’s Futures Forum (SFF) – a think tank of the Scottish Government - that is currently running a Scotland 2030 programme (http://www.parliament.scot/newsandmediacentre/104110.aspx).

This specific project involves running a series of knowledge exchange events with citizens across Scotland. The film documentary that will be recorded (already funded through RIO) will be screened throughout Scotland e.g. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Inverness, after which an open citizen forum at each location will allow for public discussion on the views of the interviewees on the future of Scottish society. A public exhibition and debate at Scottish Parliament promoting the Scotland 2030 Vision project will also be run to conclude the project and inform the policy translation process.
