FIDERH – Funding for Mexican Postgraduate Students

FIDERH (the Fund for Human Resource Development of the Bank of Mexico) offers affordable loans to Mexican students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies abroad. 

About the loan

This federal loan program, administered by the Bank of Mexico, helps Mexican students finance their postgraduate education.

Edinburgh Napier University is proud to partner with FIDERH to support students through this initiative. Students who secure FIDERH funding will receive a £4,000 tuition fee reduction on their postgraduate programme.

Eligibility

This tuition fee discount is available to students who have been successfully awarded a FIDERH loan to study a postgraduate degree at Edinburgh Napier University.

Applicants must:

  • Hold either a conditional or unconditional offer for a postgraduate course at Edinburgh Napier University.
  • Have been awarded FIDERH funding for their studies.

Application Process

  1. Apply directly to FIDERH for the postgraduate loan.
  2. Once you receive confirmation of your FIDERH funding, send proof of award to our Postgraduate Admissions Team as soon as possible at pgadmissions@napier.ac.uk.
  3. Please include a copy of your funding confirmation letter so that we can update your CAS document for Student visa purposes.
