The University has partial scholarships for self-funding students from North America.
About the scholarship
Students who are from the USA and Canada who are self-funding their course are eligible for a merit-based one-time North American Postgraduate Scholarship of £2,000 (GBP) for entry onto a on campus, full-time postgraduate taught master's programme in September 2026 and January 2027.

Please note, if you have discounted tuition fees from a partner university or are in receipt of another scholarship, you are not eligible for this scholarship. MRes programmes and the following Masters degrees are not eligible for this award: MBA (Business Leadership and Practice), MBA (Strategic Project Management), MSc Global Hospitality Management (extended), MSc Computing with Professional Placement, MSc Pharmaceutical & Analytical Science.

Applications are reviewed and shortlisted after each deadline, and scholarships are awarded in rounds.
Deadlines:
Early Deadline – 5pm (UK time), 23 April 2026. Priority consideration. Applying early gives you the strongest chance of receiving a scholarship.
Standard Deadline – 5pm (UK time), 1 June 2026. Main round of consideration for remaining scholarships.
Late Deadline – 5pm (UK time), 20 June 2026. Final round, subject to availability. Please note that limited or no scholarships may remain at this stage. Early application is strongly encouraged.
Scholarships are conditional and will only be confirmed once you meet the deposit or official funding requirement.
