Funded by the Officer’s Association Scotland, the OAS Craiglockhart Scholarship is offered by The Centre for Military Research, Education & Public Engagement
We appreciate the opportunity to undertake higher education courses for military partners and spouses may be challenging and many therefore do not fulfil their ambition to study. As part of the universities' commitment to supporting the armed forces community we wish to ensure the option to study at university is a viable option.
The Scholarship aims to support partners and spouses of serving UK military personnel with study at The Business School at Edinburgh Napier University.
A panel will award the successful applicant(s) to the scholarship a maximum of £30,000 which will be paid in instalments across a period of study over three years. Where more than one applicant is selected a proportion of the total amount will be allocated, which will be discussed with the scholars.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be self-funding and not in receipt of grants from SAAS or other sponsoring bodies.
- Applicants must be a partner or spouse of serving UK military personnel, or must otherwise demonstrate a strong connection to UK military personnel.
- Applicants must hold a firm offer from Edinburgh Napier for a course in the Business School and be in possession of an Edinburgh Napier Student Number.
