A fully funded Master of Research Project to quantify the structural and embodied carbon impact of timber construction solutions.

 A unique role at Edinburgh Napier University in partnership with the global engineering and professional services firm WSP, this MRes will form part of the UK Research and Innovation funded Centre for Net Zero High Density Buildings (CeNZ-HighDB). £17,000 is available to cover tuition fees and provide a generous stipend during the course of your studies.

Academic qualifications

A first degree (at least 2:2) ideally in Civil Engineering with a good fundamental knowledge of Structural Engineering and Environment Performance.

English Language requirement

IELTS score must be at least 6.5 (with not less than 6.0 in each of the four components). Other equivalent qualifications will be accepted. Full details of the University's policy are available online.
