Application Process

If you meet the eligibility criteria, please complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once you have done so, email USloans@napier.ac.uk to inform us. Upon notification that you have completed your FAFSA, we will send you a Cost of Attendance (COA) form to determine how much you are eligible to borrow. Once you have returned the completed form, we will review your ISIR to check that you are eligible to borrow the amounts you have requested and ask you to complete Entrance Counselling and Master Promissory Notes (MPN) for each type of loan you wish to borrow. We will then add your loans to the Common Origination and Disbursement system and once they're accepted we'll send you a Visa Letter and Disbursement Schedule to confirm how much money you can expect to receive and when. Your £5000 tuition fee deposit will be waived and a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) will be raised for you to allow you to apply for your Student Visa.

Please note, loans are only disbursed to fully matriculated students. Therefore, we recommend that you bring enough money to cover expenses before you receive your first disbursement.
