Zohra, an MSc International Human Resource Management student from Pakistan talks about her life at Edinburgh Napier University.

“Designing is my favourite aspect”

Attending practical classes with all the available technological facilities on campus helped me to not only learn but to implement my digital skills. Among all of the selected courses I am liking user experience class more as it relates to designing systems for users and designing is my favourite aspect. There are a lot of platforms to help students improve their academic writing skills if they need any support or just simply out of interest on how they could do better.

“You can get any cuisine you want to try easily!”

I am a person who is always in need of coffee and it's in demand here too, due to the weather, so in Edinburgh there are lots of coffee shops and cafes that serve you tasty coffees and hot chocolates. I would suggest Starbucks, Caffé Nero and Costa that you will see everywhere.

What I love most about Edinburgh are the views - especially at Princes Street Gardens. it is my favourite place to sit and have my own time - in the summer I hope to relax on the grass with my friends. The old buildings enhance the beauty of this city. The diversity of cultures in the city and the availability of a variety of food whether that's Pakistani, Chinese, Italian, Turkish, you can get any cuisine you want to try easily!

“There are a variety of study spaces on campus”

There are a variety of study spaces on campus - we can sit alone, with our friends or in study groups to share knowledge and work together. There are also plenty of plugs available if you need to charge your laptop or digital devices. How can I forget to mention the café with good menus and fast internet connectivity facility for all the students?!
