Course Overview

The complexity in the supply chain is further accentuated by factors such as globalisation, outsourcing, climate change, natural or manmade disasters like Covid-19 and war. 

Leaders in today’s organisations may struggle to manage increasing complexity of global supply chain. This course will address this gap and help leaders navigate and lead in turbulent times. This includes considering how business leaders can manage the complexity in their supply chains, how they can prepare for uncertainty, incorporate sustainability and build resilient enterprises.

Course Details 

The course is designed based on problem-based learning philosophy. The sessions will be highly interactive and students will have the opportunity to work on cases in groups and using simulation-based learning tool that replicates real-life scenarios.

After completing the course, students will be able to:

  • Comprehend complexity and uncertainty in the global supply chain
  • Evaluate different strategies to handle complexity,
  • Apply tools and techniques to identify, assess and manage risk
  • Device strategies to incorporate sustainability and build resilient enterprises

How You'll Be Taught 

There is an option to attend this course in-person or online. The course will run for two full days, with an optional third day. You will learn through presentations, group work and there will be lots of opportunities for networking with attendees.
