Pricing is complex in nature that reflects in brand/ positioning, at the same time discriminates customers by various characteristics (i.e., willingness-to-pay and perceived value) according to demand. Through this course, students will have a better understanding of factors influencing price and various implementations of pricing strategies that support sustainable profit.

 

Entry Requirements

 

This course can be viewed as an extension (advanced) level of “Hotel Revenue Management - Fundamental”. Applicants who have successfully completed this previous module are entitled to enrolment. Applications to attend only this advanced course will be considered on an individual basis for anyone with at least 3 years of relevant hospitality work experience.

How you’ll be taught

 

Teaching will comprise a 3-day workshop, face-to-face, held on the Craiglockhart campus.  In order to help students to understand the globalization market, this course will intend to invite industry practitioners as guest speakers.
