What will I learn?
Pricing is complex in nature, in that it reflects brand and positioning, and at the same time discriminates customers by various characteristics (ie willingness-to-pay and perceived value) according to demand. Through this course, students will gain a better understanding of factors influencing price and various implementations of pricing strategies that support sustainable profit.
Entry criteria
This course can be viewed as an Advanced level extension of our 'Hotel Revenue Management - Fundamental' short course. Applicants who have successfully completed this previous module are entitled to enrolment.
Applications to attend only this advanced course will be considered on an individual basis, for anyone with at least 3 years of relevant hospitality work experience.

Delivery mode
Teaching will comprise a 3-day workshop, face-to-face, held on the Craiglockhart campus.
In order to help students to understand the globalisation market, this course will intend to invite industry practitioners as guest speakers.
Cost
Indicative cost based on 2025 rate is £750 per person.
