What will I learn?
In this online course, you will attend professional learning sessions to develop your pedagogical content knowledge of chemistry and chemical knowledge for teaching. You will further develop your professional knowledge and understanding, and professional skills and abilities, to enable you to deliver high-quality learning experiences to improve the outcomes for all pupils in your classes.
Entry criteria
This course is aimed at teachers at all stages of their career.
Course dates and duration
In this course, you will undertake a small amount of reading, attend 6 1-hour online sessions (MS Teams), set targets for improvement and reflect on your progress.
The 1-hour online sessions will take place on the following dates:
- 30 October 2025
- 04 December 2025
- 29 January 2026
- 26 March 2026
- 07 May 2026
- 11 June 2026
Delivery mode
You will learn via input from the course leader and through discussion with other participants.
Materials will be made available online upon payment.
Cost
Course fee is £95 per applicant.
