We have made some changes to how you’ll be taught to make sure you can study safely and still receive all the resources and teaching you need to succeed.
We’ll be adopting a ‘blended-learning approach’ to our teaching. This means a combination of ‘live’ classes where you’ll be working in a group with a lecturer, either on campus or remotely; and recorded learning activities such as videos and podcasts, that you can access at any time.
Large group teaching, such as lectures, will be delivered and available online while some of our on-campus teaching will take place into the evenings and on Wednesday afternoons.
Our specialist spaces - such as labs, workshops and studios - are being equipped and designed to enable you to work safely. This means that face-to-face on-campus teaching will be in smaller groups than usual.
Your programme teams and leaders will be providing regular updates over the coming weeks.
We understand that even with the easing of restrictions, some of you will be unable to come on to campus and be assured that we will work with you to ensure that you receive the learning support and access to the study materials you need. If your situation changes, you will be able to transition to more campus-based learning at any point during the trimester.
