Applicant Visit Days are an excellent opportunity for you to find out more about our Sports Sciences courses and make a decision on your Undergraduate offer of study offer from us.
Applicant Visit Days are invitation-only events which give our offer holders the opportunity to meet staff and students, see the facilities we have to offer and find out more about their chosen course and opportunities beyond the classroom.
Throughout the day, you will be able to meet your world-record beating lecturers, see the facilities and find out more about student life at Edinburgh Napier University.
Sports sciences students spend much of their time developing their knowledge in our biomechanics and human performance labs. We have the largest environmental chamber in Scotland, so you can send someone to Everest Base Camp or the Amazon rainforest without even leaving the room. In 2016 we opened our new £2.9million sports centre, expanding our weights training facilities and adding a 20m running track and studios. Our partnership with the BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy enables us to play a key role in the development of Scotland’s future sporting talent and for you to attend lectures given by sporting professionals at the peak of their game.
During this day we will showcase our academic provision, show you round our campus and specialist teaching and research facilities giving you a true sense of what we offer.
Applicant Visit Days are by invitation only, and for those who have received an offer to study with us for an undergraduate degree in 2018 or 2019.
We will notify those who have registered for the event when the programme is available to view online which will allow you time to prepare your visit.
Student Accommodation will not be available to view on the day as our current students will be preparing for Semester exams and assessments. However, we will have Accommodation staff on campus to discuss your new home this September!
Please note that your invitation to this event does not guarantee you a place on your chosen course and you must keep up to date with any decisions that are made regarding your application(s) via Track on the UCAS website.
