About this event
During this Offer Holder Visit Day, we will showcase our academic provision, show you around our campus, and give you a chance to explore our specialist teaching and research facilities, giving you a true sense of what we offer.
Student Accommodation will not be available to view on the day as our current students will be preparing for exams and assessments. However, we will have Accommodation staff on campus to discuss your new home.
This event is by invitation only and is limited to those who have received an offer to study English, BMus or Mass Communications courses with us at undergraduate level in 2020 or 2021. Other courses (Journalism, Popular Music, Photography, Film, Acting & English, Design and Television) will not be represented as successful applicants will have been invited to an interview or audition.
We will notify those who have registered for the event when the programme is available to view online.
Please note: Your invitation to / attendance at this event does not guarantee a place on your chosen course and you must keep up-to-date with any decisions regarding your application(s) via UCAS Track.
Learning with us
Edinburgh was the first UNESCO City of Literature and has a literary history ranging from Walter Scott to Irvine Welsh. There’s an Edinburgh story for everyone in Scotland's Festival City and our students have plenty of opportunities to engage with the capital’s literary and musical past and present.
Edinburgh Napier University is home to the War Poets collection and a number of works by Robert Louis Stevenson, enabling you to explore our connection to these literary greats. We have even developed Robert Louis Stevenson Day in partnership with the Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust.
You will also have the opportunity to tell your own stories through our collaborations with STV, Publishing Scotland and the Scottish Prisons Service, helping you to develop skills and experiences to start your career. Our students have gone on to perform all over the world with bands like Mogwai and to manage groups like Idlewild.
