Eight ENU entries are recognised at the 2025 Creative Conscience Awards
A powerful statement about mass incarceration, a movement to get young men into repairing clothes, and a town where fizzy juice runs from the taps instead of clean water – just a few of the Edinburgh Napier University projects recognised at this year’s Creative Conscience Awards.
The annual event is the culmination of a global annual award scheme run by the Creative Conscience charity, recognising students and graduates for socially and environmentally impactful creative projects across various design disciplines.
Projects are judged on their creative approach and potential impact by industry experts, and winners gain access to mentorship, internship opportunities and publicity.
Eight entries put together by ENU students and graduates were honoured in total last night, six from the MSc Creative Advertising degree programme and two from BDes Graphic Design.
Gemma Skelding, Associate Lecturer in Creative Advertising & Graphic Design at Edinburgh Napier University, said: “What a talented bunch we have at the School of Arts & Creative Industries!
“We pride ourselves on creative work with a real-world impact, so it is particularly pleasing to see our students recognised by industry experts for their conscientious ideas.
“Huge congratulations to all of our winners for their purpose-driven projects inspiring positive change.”
