This page gives you step by step instructions for how to sign up as an external member of Edinburgh Napier University Libraries.

Step One: Create an online account

To register for External Membership, create an account through the Edinburgh Napier University Online Store.

Select My Account > New Customer and follow the instructions on how to register.

Once registered, sign in with your email address and password.

Step Two: Complete the External Library Membership Form

From Navigation at the top left select:
Product Catalogue > Information Services > Information Services Library.

  • Read through all the information provided, then select Read More and complete the appropriate membership form.
  • Add and proceed to basket.
  • Check your selected item and then proceed to checkout.
  • Complete the 'Additional Information Required' section. All boxes with an asterix (*) must be completed.
  • If a payment is required, enter your debit/credit card details and continue.

Confirm the order to complete the transaction.
Your request has now been sent to the relevant Library team for processing. You will receive a confirmation email within 5 working days with instructions on how to collect your library card.
