Keeping with one of this year’s conference tracks, participants will conduct a “Mini Event Impact Analysis” on select festivals taking place in and around Edinburgh.
Training materials will be provided before the session, including a video, and will be reviewed at the beginning of the workshop. Samples will be demonstrated, and a template will be provided to make the project “quick and easy”.
Participants will learn industry research basics and will gain valuable hands-on experience analyzing hotel data. Involvement is limited on a first come first served basis.
Prior registration is required. Participants will be organized into small teams on a random basis. Each team will receive a different festival. Data will be provided that can be quickly assimilated. Teams will create a very short PowerPoint and will offer a brief presentation to share what they learned about their event.
Members of the winning team will receive $100 each. If you cannot make it for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. If not, other participants will be negatively impacted.
