Associate Professor

Biography

Debbie Meharg joined Edinburgh Napier School of Computing in 2013 and is a Senior Fellow of the HEA, SICSA Education Champion and active member of the teaching fellows community where she acts as a reviewer and mentor for the Universities Enroute programme. Meharg’s research interests sit within the Centre for Computing Education Research (CCER) and focus on students transitioning from further education institutions to higher education and Graduate Level Apprenticeships (GLA) programmes. Alongside her research activities, Debbie is an active member of the teaching team within the School of Computing where she is Programme Leader for BSc (Hons) Software Development (GA) and module leader on undergraduate, postgraduate and global online modules.
