Dr Aartee Huzooree PhD, MSc, BSc

Lecturer

Biography

Dr. Geshwaree Huzooree is the Programme Leader for the BA Business Management at Edinburgh Napier University, where she also lectures in Strategy and Project Management within the MBA Strategic Project Management Programme. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and previously served as a Senior Lecturer at Curtin Mauritius for eight years. With seven years of IT industry experience in software development and project management, she holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (2020), MSc in Software Engineering Projects and Management (2014), and BSc in Computer Science and Engineering (2007) from the University of Mauritius. Her research focuses on project management, remote working, higher education, health informatics, AI, and digital technologies. Dr. Geshwaree received the Best Oral Presenter Award (2018) for her work on diabetes sensor technologies. She has authored journal articles, book chapters, and edited books, and has published extensively in reputable platforms such as IEEE and Springer, addressing real-world challenges through impactful research.
