Biography

I am a feminist researcher who is interested in feminist movements, gender equality, leadership and festivals. My PhD "Women, Festival Leadership, and Social Transformations: the case of Edinburgh, the World's Leading Festival City" looks at the situation of women working in arts festivals in Edinburgh, analyses the difficulties women might encounter in achieving leadership positions, and assesses gender inequalities.
