COVID-19 Public Inquiry: Research Report for Portfolio 3: The Provision of Health and Social Care: Social Care for Children
  This report reviews available evidence regarding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on social care for children in Scotland, focusing on the strategic response of the Scottish Government. It was commissioned by the Scottish COVID-19 Public Inquiry, and covers the period from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2022. It sets out the legal and human rights obligations on the Scottish Government and analyses published research, Government and Parliamentary publications and grey literature to set out the impacts on child protection, services for disabled children and children in need, and the interaction with other services including education, housing and the NHS.
