SafeNet: Unleashing Robust Security Measures to Safeguard IoT Networks
In today's interconnected world, the proliferation of the Internet of Things (IoT) has led to an unprecedented surge in the volume of connected devices revolutionizing industries and reshaping our daily lives. However, the increasing reliance on IoT infrastructure has intensified the threat landscape, rendering these networks vulnerable to harmful cyberattacks. These attacks can result in serious consequences for businesses and consumers, such as data breaches, service outages, and financial losses. Numerous security solutions have been proposed in the literature to safeguard IoT networks against these attacks. Nevertheless, existing solutions suffer from considerable computational and communication overhead, making them unsuitable for resource-limited IoT devices and they often fail to scale under large-scale IoT networks. This research proposal seeks to tackle these limitations by exploring advanced cryptography to enhance IoT security posters with more efficient solutions.
