TNE Development
To help ensure our sustainability efforts have quantifiable impacts, this project aims to:
•Enabling research: supporting research, knowledge and innovation collaborations to address climate change local and global challenges and promote inclusive growth through embodied carbon accounting for industrial developments in UK & China.

•Internationalising higher education and TVET – supporting systems, institutions and individuals to benefit from internationalisation, including enabling transnational education and system alignment. While the standards for A1-A3 emissions associated with different development establish an emissions baseline this project will strive to improve as we implement innovative technologies and construction methodologies.

•Strengthening systems and institutions – improving the quality and efficiency of higher education and TVET institutions and systems.

•Enhancing learner outcomes – addressing the qualities of the global graduate, including soft skills, employability and community outcomes. Simulations

•Increasing equality, diversity and inclusion – making higher education and TVET more accessible, equitable and accountable.

This project is supported by a “Going Global Partnerships - 2023 UK-China Institutional Partnership Exploration Fund” grant from the British Council’s Going Global Partnerships programme. The programme builds stronger, more inclusive, internationally connected higher education and TVET systems.
