Transformative Technologies for Enhancing Healthcare
The project is to host international cohorts of early-career researchers, which will them to conduct research into the following areas:
•AI-Enabled Falls Prevention Device for Elderly Populations: This research focuses on the design, development, and validation of an AI-enabled portable diagnostic device for falls prevention, targeting at-risk populations such as the elderly in Thailand.
•Applications of Robotics and AI in Advancing Industry 5.0 in Healthcare: This research area focuses on the integration of robotics, AI, and healthcare within the framework of Industry 5.0. The emphasisis on creating more intelligent, ecient, and patient-cantered healthcare systems, which directly supports the Healthy People priority research area.
•Exoskeleton Robots for Multistage Rehabilitation: This research focuses on developing and applying exoskeleton robots specically tailored to assist patients with mobility challenges in their rehabilitation journey
•Advanced Flexible Energy Storage for Clean Energy and Electric Vehicles: This project focuses on the development of advanced exible energy storage devices, specically supercapacitors, using innovative materials such as graphene, conducting polymers, and metal oxides. These devices are aimed at enhancing clean energy applications, particularly for electric vehicles and renewable energy systems like solar panels and wind turbines.
•Autonomous Electric Vehicles for Emergency Services:This research area focuses on the development of autonomous electric vehicles (AEVs) tailored for emergency services, specically in search and rescue operations and disaster relief scenarios. By leveraging advancements in robotics and AI, these AEVs can autonomously navigate complex terrains and environments, offering critical support in humanitarian efforts and emergency responses.
