When you study with us, you will spend some of your time in the Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre applying your knowledge and developing your skills in realistic simulated environments.

The Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre has many simulated environments which will help you to get a feel for the range of scenarios and spaces you will experience when you are on practice placement, but also where you may visit or work in the future as a registered Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Social Worker.

These simulated environments represent both high-tech clinical and hospital environments, as well as realistic home and community environments. They also include simulations of different technologies, equipment and environments you are likely to encounter.

A dedicated team of specialist staff are always on hand to help and to answer any questions you may have. In addition, our technical team are experts in simulation technology and experienced medical makeup artists will design and create various realistic situations to make your learning as lifelike as possible.

You can also use the Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre to practice your skills autonomously, book a group session, or arrange a 1:1 practice session.
