Creating a national linked dataset to understand rehabilitation delivery in Scotland
Despite recent advances in the use of digital health interventions to support people with cardiovascular disease, dissemination is uneven, and there are notable gaps in uptake. Our recent research projects in digital health include a nationwide blood pressure management programme, supporting physical activity using wearable devices, and creating new digital services for people who have experienced cardiac events. Through this programme grant, we will seek to extend the work, framing this in realist methodology to understand the contexts, mechanisms, and outcomes in which digital technology can work for people living in Scotland with cardiovascular disease
