1. Accept your offer

If you’ve already applied through UCAS this year, head to the UCAS Hub and add Edinburgh Napier as a Clearing choice. You’ll need to tell UCAS:

You can only add one Clearing offer on UCAS, so if you need support in choosing a course that’s right for you, give us a call.

If you haven’t applied through UCAS this year, complete our RPA form to accept your offer.

2. Send us your qualifications

If you have completed your exams and have applied through UCAS already, we can verify your results on UCAS.

If you don’t have a UCAS application or your offer is based on National 5, GCSE or HNC/HND results, your offer letter will instruct you on sending copies of these to us.

3. We'll confirm your place

Once we have checked and verified your grades, we will formally confirm your place with us, so keep an eye on your inbox!

Even if you applied for funding earlier in the year, you’ll need to update your details with your new university and/or course information. If you haven’t applied yet, don’t worry—you can still apply, but it’s important to do it as soon as possible to avoid delays to your first payment. Here's what to do next:

Already applied for student finance this year?

Log in to your student finance account and update your course or university details online.

Haven’t applied yet?

You can still apply. Visit your student finance website (like SAAS, Student Finance England, Student Finance Wales, or Student Finance Northern Ireland) to start your application.

Prepare for the first semester

If you're applying late or making changes after Clearing, your funding might take a little longer to come through. Make sure you have enough money to cover things like rent and travel for the first few weeks of university.

The accommodation application guarantee deadline is 3pm on 18 August 2025.

We guarantee an offer of accommodation to all first year and direct entrant undergraduate students who meet our eligibility criteria and apply by the guarantee deadline. You can apply for accommodation once you have a confirmed offer on our system.

Students from the Republic of Ireland can pre-reserve student accommodation from 1 August until 3pm on 18 August by emailing accommodation@napier.ac.uk or calling 0131 455 3713, as your exam results will not be released until later.

Our Accommodation Team are offering future students and parents the opportunity to attend a student accommodation site tour on selected dates across the summer months.

Registration and Welcome Week

Once your place is confirmed, you'll start to receive emails about the registration process. Once registration is complete, you will gain access to your student account, timetable and more. In the meantime, check out our new students information on My Napier. 

In your first week, you’ll take part in Welcome Week, which includes everything from course inductions to getting to know your campus and support services. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy Freshers Week, packed with social events, activities, and ways to meet new people.
