Entry requirements
Undergraduate
Students would be eligible to apply if they have completed the National Senior Certificate (NSC) with an overall grade 5 or above.
Our courses
Postgraduate
Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained a Bachelor (Honours) degree or Bachelor Professional Degree with 2:2 or 60% or above.

English language
Students who are applying to an undergraduate programme are required to have achieved Senior Certificate English Grade C/5 or above.
Students applying to a postgraduate programme are not required to take an English language test like IELTS, as long as the bachelor degree was taught and examined in English and completed within the last two years.
Pathway programmes
Edinburgh Napier University International College (ENUIC) is an embedded on campus college for international students to start their studies at Edinburgh Napier University. It is located in the historic, city centre campus of Merchiston, with easy access to student accommodation.
Pathway programmes at ENUIC prepare students for their chosen future degree with academic and English language support. ENUIC offers students the option between International Stage One, International Stage Two, or an International Incorporated Masters.
Undergraduate
International Year One
English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.
Academic requirement - Completion of Year 11 Senior Certificate with A – C in at least 5 subjects or successful completion of the National Senior Certificate
International Year Two
English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.
Academic requirement - Senior Certificate with matriculation/ national senior certificate, or 32-80 UCAS tariff points at GCE A/AS Level or equivalent
Postgraduate
International Incorporated Masters
– One Term IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components
– Two Terms IELTS 5.5 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components
Academic requirement - Bachelor Degree with third class, or 59% or below or diploma equivalent
