Entry requirements
Undergraduate
Students from Canada would be eligible to apply if they hold one of the following high school or secondary school diplomas with the appropriate subject mix should be considered for entry to an undergraduate degree programme with the following:
- Alberta General High School Diploma (65% in five grade 12 subjects)
- British Columbia Senior Secondary Graduation Diploma (65% in five grade 12 subjects)
- Manitoba High School Graduation Diploma (Five 40S courses at 65%)
- New Brunswick High School Graduation Diploma (65% in five grade 12 subjects)
- Newfoundland (65% in five grade 12 subjects)
- Northwest Territories (65% in five grade 12 subjects)
- Nova Scotia (65% in five grade 12 subjects)
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (six grade 12 U, U/C or M courses including grade 12 U English) with 65%
- Prince Edward Island High School Graduation Diploma (65% in five grade 12 subjects)
- Sasktchewan Completion Grade 12 Standing (Secondary School Diploma) (65% in five grade 12 subjects)
- Yukon Territory Senior Secondary Graduation Diploma (BBBBB) in grade 12 subjects
- Holders of the Diplome d’Etudes Collegiales (from Quebec) or the Attestation d’Etudes Collègiales with an overall score of 60% or above should be considered for entry on to first degree programme

Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained a bachelor/bachelor (Honours) degree with 2.7/4.0 or B- or 70% or "Good" or above.

Canadian Loans Program
Edinburgh Napier University is able to certify Canadian Student Loan applications. The Canadian Student Loans Program allows students to borrow money from the Government of Canada to pursue higher education. The US Loans team can certify loan applications by confirming student status on the relevant documentation provided by the Canadian Government. Pathway programmes
Edinburgh Napier University International College (ENUIC) is an embedded on campus college for international students to start their studies at Edinburgh Napier University. It is located in the historic, city centre campus of Merchiston, with easy access to student accommodation.
Pathway programmes at ENUIC prepare students for their chosen future degree with academic and English language support. ENUIC offers students the option between International Stage One, International Stage Two, or an International Incorporated Masters.
Undergraduate
International Year One
English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.
Academic requirement -
Most provinces - Successful completion of Grade 11 with 60% average OR Successful completion of Grade 12
New Brunswick - Successful completion of Grade 11 with 70% average OR Successful completion of DES with 60%
Quebec - Successful completion of DES with 60%
International Year Two
English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.

Most provinces - Successful completion of Grade 12 Senior Secondary Graduation Diploma with 65% average OR Successful completion of Grade 11 plus one year further study
New Brunswick - Successful completion of Grade 12 Senior Secondary Graduation Diploma with 75% average OR Successful completion of Grade 11 plus one year further study
Quebec - Successful completion of Attestation d'Études Collégiales OR Successful completion of DES plus one year further study OR DEC with 70% in two modules OR DEC with 60% in three modules
Postgraduate
International Incorporated Masters
– One Term IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components
– Two Terms IELTS 5.5 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components
Academic requirement -
Most provinces - Successful completion of a Bachelor degree OR Diploma of Technology OR A qualification equivalent to a HND (Level 5)
