Entry requirements
Undergraduate
Students would generally be required to complete an international pathway programme to be considered for entry to one of our bachelor courses.
Postgraduate
Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained a Titulo de Licenciado/Titulo de (subject area) (only if 4 years in duration or longer) with 15.0 (20 point scale), 6.0 (9 point scale) or above.
Our courses
English language
Students from Venezuela are required to sit an English language test to gain entry to the University.

We also offer various pre-sessional English language programmes for applicants who have test results below the programme requirement.

Pathway programmes
Edinburgh Napier University International College (ENUIC) is an embedded on campus college for international students to start their studies at Edinburgh Napier University. It is located in the historic, city centre campus of Merchiston, with easy access to student accommodation.
Pathway programmes at ENUIC prepare students for their chosen future degree with academic and English language support. ENUIC offers students the option between International Stage One, International Stage Two, or an International Incorporated Masters.
Undergraduate
International Year One
English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.
Academic requirement - Título de Educación Media General overall above 10/20
International Year Two
English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.
Academic requirement - Título de Educación Media General overall above 15/20
Postgraduate
International Incorporated Masters
– One Term IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components
– Two Terms IELTS 5.5 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components
Academic requirement -
Completed Bachelor Degree with a:
10+ (Scale 0-20)
5+ (Scale 0-9)
3+ (Scale 0-5)
