Entry requirements


Students from Hong Kong would generally be required to have completed one of the following to be eligible for our bachelor programmes:

Hong Kong Advanced Level Certificate (HKALE)
Where our A-Level requirement is:
  • A Level CCC = HKALE DDD
  • A Level BCC = HKALE CDD
  • A Level BBC = HKALE CCD

Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE)
Pass four core subjects at Level 3 or above in HKDSE with three elective subjects at:
  • Grade 333 (for A Level requirement CCC)
  • Grade 433 (for A Level requirement  BCC)
  • Grade 443 (for A Level requirement BBC)

Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained a bachelor (Honours) degree at 2:2 or above.

Our courses

English language

Students from Hong Kong who are applying for a bachelor programme will be required to have completed the HKDSE English Language at Grade 3 with Grade 3 or better in each individual component of language learning.

Students from Hong Kong who are applying for a Master’s programme will be required to have completed the bachelor degree which was taught and examined in English within the last two years.
