Entry requirements

Undergraduate

For all courses (with the exception of those listed below) students would usually be required to have completed the Voorbereidend Wetenschappelijk Onderwijs (VWO) with a minimum grade of 7 or above. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 7 will be required.

For Nursing/Veterinary Nursing minimum entry requirements – please contact ugadmissions@napier.ac.uk

International Baccalaureate

Award of Diploma with between 26 and 29 points or above depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then grade 5 or above in HL is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.

European Baccalaureate

Pass with between 60 and 70% depending on the course you choose to apply for. If a course requires a specific subject at grade B at SQA Higher then 70% is required. Please see each individual course webpage for specific entry requirements.

Postgraduate entry requirements

Bachelor degree (6/10) or Doctoraal (6/10).

English language

Students from The Netherlands are required to have obtained English at grade 8. Alternatively, you can sit an English language test to gain entry to University.

We offer various pre-sessional English language programmes for applicants who have test results below the programme requirement. Some courses may require a higher English language score. Please search for the course you're interested in to find out more.
