What funding is available to me?
We advise starting your funding process in Spring so that everything is ready for your arrival at university in September.
If you are a Scottish student and meet the eligibility requirements, your fees will normally be paid by SAAS. You need to apply each year to SAAS and we recommend applying before the end of June to ensure your funding is in place by the start of your course. Students waiting to meet their conditions can still apply to SAAS. You just need to add your top choice university to your application. You can log into your SAAS account and update this if anything changes.
If you are from the rest of the UK or the Republic of Ireland, you will pay course fees for up to three years at Edinburgh Napier. This applies even if your course lasts four years! We also offer a Merit Bursary and an Access Bursary depending on your circumstances.
Check out our funding pages to learn more.
What do firm and insurance choices mean?
Firm Acceptance
If you select Napier as your firm, unconditional offer, your place is confirmed - and you’ll automatically decline all other offers.
If you select Napier as your firm, conditional offer, we’ll confirm your place once you meet the conditions of your offer.
Insurance Acceptance
If Napier is your insurance, unconditional offer, your place is confirmed if your firm choice can’t accept you.
If Napier is your insurance, conditional offer, we’ll offer you a place if you meet the conditions - and if your firm choice can’t accept you.
How can I meet people?
Once you have your offer you can join the Unibuddy community - this is a space for offer holders to connect with each other and ask our current students any questions they have.
