Do you have a disability or access requirement you would like support with during your visit?

We’re launching four new courses in 2019 that will prepare you to teach Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics in secondary schools. Come along to our Sighthill campus on 28 March to find out more.

Join us from 6.30pm for refreshments, and the presentation will start at 7pm. The evening will include the following:

  • Dr Gary Hutchison, Dean of Applied Sciences, will welcome you and give an introduction to Edinburgh Napier University and our Sighthill campus.
  • Learn about the course content, structure and timetabling.
  • Get information about the many funding options for your course.
  • Meet Andrew Gallacher, Head of Secondary Education, and ask any questions you might have regarding entry criteria, career opportunities, how to apply and how our selection process works.

Our one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) courses are designed by teachers, for teachers, and allow you to qualify as a secondary school teacher in your specialist subject.

We know that the best teachers are confident, experienced and equipped to stand in front of their class from day one. You know your subject. We’ll help you share it.

*Our courses are subject to accreditation by the GTCS.
