The university has an active staff and student Armed Forces Network in place which is integral to TCMREPE. The Network is open to any staff member or student who is current or ex-service or wishes to support the Armed Forces Community. For further information view the network remit.

The Staff Co-Leads for the Staff and Student Network is Claire Biggar and Gary Kerr, and we have a Student Co-Lead, Hugh Mackay.

To support students from the armed forces community who are studying with us we have created an Armed Forces Moodle site. This site will give the armed forces student community information about Academic Skills, Student Futures, health and wellbeing and further information about the University's commitment to supporting the armed forces community.

Armed Forces Network /Public Engagement -On 23rd June our internal Armed Forces Network hosted a guest lecture to support Armed Forces Day. We were delighted to welcome Brigadier Gill Wilkinson to speak, and she delivered a fantastic lecture entitled 'Let us learn from the past to profit by the present, and from the present to live better for the future” using poetry and letters to present, it was a unique style, and the lecture was well received by the audience.
